Jesse, an avid servant leader with a passion for making a positive impact, has dedicated years to providing critical relief and opportunities to those in need. As the former director of humanitarian aid for a Christian international non-profit, Jesse played a pivotal role in delivering life-saving support to disaster sites across the globe.

In 2010, Jesse exemplified his commitment to service by being among the first responders to Haiti’s call for help after a devastating earthquake. In the midst of chaos, he focused on providing essential humanitarian aid to orphanages facing dire shortages of food and water, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to making a difference.

The turning point in Jesse’s journey came with the birth of his son and the encouragement of his wife, Carrie, and his mentor, David, the owner of L. Oppleman, America’s oldest pawn shop. Inspired by a shared vision of service and opportunity, Jesse & Carrie founded Opplemans Trading and Exchange Company in 2012.

In this venture, Jesse continues his mission of serving others by curating valuable merchandise for interested buyers and offering customers the financial support they need to navigate life’s challenges.
